Working in the East Midlands region
Jeff Spencer is the regional development manager for the East Midlands. Operating in close partnership with Sport England, Jeff is working with the Sector Skills Development Agency, the Learning and Skills Council, and County Sports Partnerships to engage with local employers and training providers.
A strong infrastructure is in place to enable partners at local and regional levels to contribute to the development of the workforce in the field of active leisure and learning, and SkillsActive will work within existing structures at regional and sub-regional levels, where possible, to avoid duplication and to work in partnership with all key stakeholders.
