Playwork North West
The North West Region covers 22 key geographic areas:
Bolton, Blackpool, Blackburn and Darwen, Bury, Cheshire, Cumbria, Halton, Knowsley, Lancashire, Liverpool, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Salford, Sefton, St Helens, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford, Warrington, Wigan and Wirral. The areas range from rural to urban populations and are supported by five Learning and Skills Councils and one Regional Development Agency. The North West region currently does not have a SkillsActive Playwork Regional Development Manager. However, from September, 2008 we will be recruitment a person to this post - and we will be advertsing the position shortly
In the mean time, Steve Jolly, Playwork Regional Development Manger for the West Midlands is temporarily covering the North West region.
