Working in Scotland
Pam Scott is the National Manager for sport and recreation in Scotland. Operating in close partnership with sportscotland, SkillsActive is working with the Sector Skills Development Agency, the Scottish Executive, the Scottish Enterprise and the Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and a number of other professional bodies and stakeholders to engage with employers and training providers.
A strong infrastructure is in place to enable partners at local and regional levels to contribute to the development of the workforce in the field of active leisure and learning, and SkillsActive works within existing structures at to avoid duplication and to work in partnership with all key stakeholders.
