South West Playwork Employers Forum
The South West Employers forum meets termly to discuss the issues faced by employers in the playwork sector. The aim is to identify current needs within the sector, especially in relation to skills gaps of playworkers and training needs. Training Providers Forum
The purpose of this forum is to update regional playwork training providers on the latest developments in playwork qualifications, education and training and to encourage the development by training providers of a wide range of Continuing Professional Development opportunities across the region. The event also provides training providers with the valuable opportunity to network and discuss workforce issues.

Public Services SSC Alliance
SkillsActive Playwork South West is part of the five Sector Skills Councils that make up the Public Service Alliance and works across the Children and Young People's workforce.
The Public Services SSC Alliance meets and looks at partnership working where specific projects or events can be jointly undertaken by the five SSC's which are - SkillsActive (Playwork Unit), Skills for Health, Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) as part of Skills for Care, Skills for Justice and Lifelong Learning UK (LLUK).
