14 - 19 Diploma
SkillsActive started development of the Sport and Active Leisure line of learning in January 2007. The Diploma in Sport and Active Leisure is in the third phase of diplomas being introduced and will be available for delivery from September 2010.
Skills for Life
Adult literacy, language and numeracy skills is a government priority in all four nations but are often referred to using different terminology across England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
These skills can include:
- Reading
- Writing
- Speaking and listening
- Understanding and using mathematical information
- Calculating and manipulating mathematical information
- Interpreting results and communicating mathematical information
- Basic ICT skills (in England only).
