In
general there are two aspects
to outdoor sports development;
competition sport and related
coaching and awards, which are
often pre-requisites in many non-sport
activities undertaken by teachers,
youth-workers and technicians.
A well-rounded spectrum of experience,
formal educational qualifications
and specific outdoor performance
and
coaching qualifications is need
for a career in this area.
Supervisory and management type
skills become increasingly important
in all areas at the more senior
level positions.
