Salary: Circa £42,000 per annum

Based: Home Working

Partner with government, sector employers, national agencies, and trade bodies to facilitate business change via people and skills development.

 

You will work with employers in our sectors, throughout Scotland and develop strong collaborative partnerships with the Scottish government and its agencies to shape and influence policy direction and achieve the demand-led education and training system that meets the needs of employers.

 

Your knowledge of the current employment and skills agenda in Scotland and high level negotiation and influencing skills will enable you to work with sector employers, national agencies, committees and trade association to enhance employer engagement and determine a skills protocol for employers in Scotland.

 

Empowering employers to develop their workforce through workforce development planning and managing projects as a result of funding from the Employer Innovation Fund is a key part of your role.

 

You will have excellent interpersonal and networking skills, and an interest in improving employment and skills opportunities for people in our Sector. Ability to travel across the UK and regular visits to our head office in Central London is essential.

Brand Marketing Executive

Brand Marketing Executive

Circa £24,000 per annum

Based - Split between Central London & Croydon (with possible permanent move to Central London)

An exiting opportunity working within the Marketing & Communications team, you will support the Register of Exercise Professionals (REPs) to deliver its 3 year growth plan and to launch new registers in other defined sectors.

Your primary role will be growing and retaining membership and developing ecommerce based revenue streams from related member benefits sourced through 3rd party commercial partnerships.

This is a hands on role that will require knowledge of a broad spectrum of marketing activities. From writing copy for emails, press releases and web pages to event planning and online marketing, with follow up processes including measurement and reporting. Awareness of working with a CRM system will be an advantage.

This role is an excellent opportunity for somebody with the visible drive, determination and energy to take ownership and lead growth.

Registration services officer

Salary: 19k per annum

Based: Croydon (with possible re-location to Central London from Summer 2012)

This role is to develop the Register, in line with business objectives, and to ensure the prompt and correct registration of individuals who wish to be members of the Register of Exercise Professionals alongside providing excellent customer service.

You will have a customer service background and be a highly-motivated individual with strong IT skills and excellent communication skills.  Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure efficient processing and administration of registrations of REPs membership.

This is a challenging role which may require some very occasional travel away from home/office; some working flexibly will be required.
