SkillsActive works with the Skills Protocol Employer Leadership Group to achieve a number of key objectives.
The SPELG objectives are:
- The development and introduction of a ‘Single Qualifications Framework’
- For all individuals in the sector have a training plan
- For all individuals to hold a skills passport and keep their skills verified and up to date
- Creating a joined up single system in partnership with CIMSPA as the sector’s one professional institute
- To enable all employers and individuals to access the best quality assured training through a single portal
- To cerate a network of the best training providers within that single portal
- To ensure Higher Education graduates possess the correct skills for the workplace.
