What type of membership?

FULL MEMBER

If your business employs staff working in any of our sub-sectors, you can join SkillsActive with full membership.

Fees:

The full membership fee is charged on an annual basis, with the initial payment made at the time of application, and then on a year-on-year basis at the time of renewal.

Fees are based on the number of sites your business has.

• One site = £25+VAT (£29.38)
• The fee is capped at 10 sites, so even if your business has more you’ll never pay more than £250+VAT (£293.80). For more information on how we define sites and answers to other questions you may have, view our FAQs

Apply to become a full member

AFFILIATE

If your organisation offers training or qualifications relevant to active leisure and learning then you can join us as an affiliate.

Fees: 

The affiliate fee is charged on an annual basis, with the initial payment made at the time of application, and then on a year-on-year basis at the time of renewal.

• Affiliates pay a flat rate of £100 +VAT regardless of the number of sites the business has (£117.50)

Apply to become an affiliate

PATRONAGE

If you would like your organisation to take a greater part in helping the industry you can apply to become a patron of SkillsActive and our Skills Fund. The revenue from the Skills Fund goes towards a range of essential projects that we could not support with our usual funding.

Patrons are not charged an annual membership fee but offer instead an annual donation, which includes full or affiliate membership in the package.
