Playwork
SkillsActive worked to create the first UK playwork strategy. We have united with play centres across the UK to ensure that playworkers get the support they need and that the strategy is effectively implemented.
SkillsActive has also developed member benefits specifically for the playwork sector, including a 50% discount on the Workforce Development CD-rom, an essential tool for developing the skills of your staff.

The Outdoors
As an industry estimated to be worth £1.4 billion a year to the UK economy, the Outdoors relies on thousands of highly skilled salaried and voluntary staff. Many of these skills are unique to the sector and can only be developed with the right training and support.
Caravans
The caravan industry is seeing continual growth leading to a great demand and need to train its staff, from engineers to seasonal workers. We work to help these organisations balance their needs and also form a close working relationship with CITO, Caravan Industry Training Ltd.
