Over the last year SkillsActive have been has been contracted by the Department for Business Innovation and Skills, through the UK Commission for Employment and Skills, to develop and maintain new Apprenticeship frameworks.
These frameworks are to meet the requirements of the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for England (SASE), and for Wales the Specification of Apprenticeship Standards for Wales (SASW), so that they are more flexible and better meet the needs of individuals and employers.
As part of this work we recognise the value of the sector's input and feedback, so we would like to invite feedback all those involved in either delivery of the programme or in the employment of apprentices in our sector.
Through the survey we wish to capture your views around the type of qualifications contained within them and whether they are relevant to employment in your workplace and in the wider sector.
The new frameworks need to be available for issue by April 2011, therefore we are in the process of writing the content. Please see consultation timelines below:
