The Skills Development Framework (SDF) aims to support employers across the workforce to cultivate integrated working skills within their organisations.
The SDF will inform employees, training providers, workforce development managers and national standard-setting bodies, as they introduce and develop the skills and competences required for effective joined-up working.
CWDC are now inviting the workforce to join their online forum to discuss practical ways of using the SDF locally and recommend how it can support the development of skills and competences of those working with young people.
The SDF is now published and early implementation of the phase one document is being reviewed from 6 September until 10 December 2010 to test its usefulness to employers, employees, volunteers and workforce development managers.
Download the SDF, contribute to the review, or to join the CWDC SDF online discussion forum to share good practice and discuss implementation of the SDF.
