Help us research the sporting workforce in Northern Ireland

Andrew Brown, SkillsActive - 01/07/09

SkillsActive, in collaboration with Sport Northern Ireland, is conducting important research into employment, skills and training needs for the sporting workforce and the impact of World sporting events being hosted in the UK over the next four years.

We want to ensure we have represented large and small organisations or clubs in sport and recreation, health and fitness and the outdoors, taking account of both your paid workers and volunteers.  This survey also includes people who are self-employed, working as freelancers or in a partnership.

To encourage you to take part we are offering a prize draw with three prizes:

  • A weekend break two in a 4* Hotel (including B&B, one evening meal)
  • £250 sports equipment voucher - courtesy of Podium 4 Sport
  • £150 towards Governing Body or other recognised training

It’s really important that we hear from as many organisations as possible to present a complete picture of sport in Northern Ireland.  Please follow this link to find out more and complete the survey before the closing date of 31 July.

The results of the survey will be available on the SkillsActive website in October 2009.
