Through our National Skills Academy for Sport and Active Leisure, we deliver those qualifications, ensuring the training is quality assured, cost effective and relevant to employers’ needs.

SkillsActive works with employers to ensure Apprenticeships across our sector deliver the knowledge and skills their business needs.
We aim to provide a focus for active leisure, learning and well-being employers throughout Northern Ireland who want to work together to identify and address their organisation’s skills requirements.
We have an established committee in Northern Ireland led by employers.
We also work in partnership with sector groups and are building regional employer networks across the province.
