Playwork national occupational standards
Together with employers and partner organisations we develop national occupational standards which describe the knowledge, understanding, skills and principles needed to be a competent playworker.
Playwork national occupational standards are available from levels 2-4. We are currently developing new standards for adventure play, elemental play, play rangers and play in the early years. After consultation with the sector, these will be finalised and submitted to the UK Commission for Employment and Skills at the end of March 2010. When they are approved they will be uploaded to this site.
