London

The London NSA regional hub will be established at the state of the art training facility at the Crystal Palace National Sport Centre, widely recognised as the capital’s home of sport and boasting both a comprehensive range of sports and leisure facilities with the added benefit of residential accommodation.

The regional hub based at Crystal Palace will be just one of four sites based in the London region – establishing a solid network for the Academy and recognising the capitals centres of excellence.

Network of Centres of Excellence in London

  1. Crystal Palace focusing on leisure operations and management for leisure employers, fitness, events (stewarding for O2, Wembley Stadium and international venues) sponsored by Greenwich Leisure Ltd and the London Development Agency.
  2. Paddington focusing on physical activity and health sponsored by Westminster City Council.
  3. Richmond and Kingston focusing on sport working with national governing bodies of sport.
  4. Regional coaching centre: part of the sports coach UK tendering process.

    Charlton Athletic, Millwall, Luton, Watford.

    Centre Circle Event Management, and Gold Range (Reliance Security).

    London South East Gladiators.
  • Rugby Football Union.

  • The Volleyball Association.

The Partners

FE support includes:

  • Richmond (CoVE with Kingston), Barnet, Merton, Waltham Forest, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Havering, Orpington, and Bromley Colleges, providing partner delivery, venues for delivery and employment of lecturers and trainers;
