The Sporting Workforce in Northern Ireland

SkillsActive, in partnership with Sport NI, are undertaking important qualitative research to help answer a number of key questions about our sporting workforce. Whether you are part of a large organisation with a paid workforce or a small club relying on volunteers, we need to hear your views to identify the skills needs of our future Sporting Workforce. With the GB and Northern Ireland Olympic teams forecast to double for the 2012 Games, how will that impact on sport, the sporting workforce and their skills needs?

Mechanical Rides Operation - revision of National Occupational Standards

There are current NOS relating to Mechanical Ride Operation occupations available at level 2. These were originally developed in 1996 and revised in 1998. We are revising them again to ensure that they are appropriate for industry and in line with legislative changes.
