Don't miss out on this opportunity to engage with new developments in the Sport & Active Leisure sector.
The event will not be resting on its previous successes but instead, building on previous programmes with a series of high profile speakers, high quality debate and a thorough and well consulted programme of key note presentations and workshops.
Continuing its promise of positive change, We have teamed up with ISPAL on their 17th annual conference to ensure this year's event offers a wider programme to further expand on the core sports development updates that provide the, backbone of the presentations.
Delivering a combination of key note presentations, updates and continual professional development, (CPD) sessions with more than 25 speakers, It will include content on a variety of subjects, focused across 4 work streams:
- Effective Community Sport
- Training and ‘Upskilling’ SDOs
- School Sport – The Five Hour Offer
- Equality in Sport
And will include workshops on:
- Dipoma in Sport & Active Leisure
- Sporting Excellence and Apprenticeships
- Professionalising sports development
- National Skills Academy for Sport & Active Leisure
We will also host a networking event in the evening at the Crystal Bar (just a few minutes walk from the City Hall and hotels) where guests can discuss the day, relax and enjoy a finger buffet while catching up with colleagues.
Great Saving for Members!
There is a significant discount (£150) for all members of ISPAL attending the conference with delegate fees costing just £249 + VAT for both days. Accommodation will need to be booked, but can be arranged by the conference organisers - Conference 21 - as part of the booking process.
