IOC welcomes your views on the Games
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has launched a worldwide online public consultation about the Olympic Games.
IOC - 02/04/2008
In the first 'virtual Olympic Congress', members of the public are invited to give their views on five main themes. Topics range from the Olympic Games themselves to how to get young people more active.
Running until 31 December, the online consultation is the first of its kind for the IOC. The results will be fed into the 13th Olympic Congress, taking place in Copenhagen in October 2009.
IOC President Rogge said: 'This is the first Congress of the millennium, and the first one since the start of the digital revolution.
'Even if the Olympic Congress is primarily for the Olympic Family, we needed to take the pulse using the modern methods available to us, and in particular open up to the public.'
The consultation closes on December 31 2008.
