Working in Fitness 2009
This report presents the summary findings of the sixth annual Working in Fitness Survey, a confidential online survey conducted between May and July. South West Sport and Leisure Progression Pilot
In 2008, SkillsActive were awarded funding by the Learning and Skills Council South West to explore the barriers to greater participation in Apprenticeships in Active Leisure and Learning. This report looks at Apprenticeship take up, Entry to Employment programmes, the Group Training Organisation and awareness by advisors of the Active Leisure and Learning sector. 15 June 2009 download (638.5 kB)
Playwork people report PP3
The Playwork People survey is SkillsActive’s biennial survey of the playwork workforce. It is the largest dedicated survey of playworkers in England, and provides an invaluable source of quantitative information about the characteristics of the workforce. The Playwork People survey aims to provide data and information to underpin and inform the development and understanding of the playwork workforce and training/qualifications provision. The overall report presents the findings of the third Playwork People survey, based on the results of two separate questionnaires: one of playwork employers and one of playwork employees. The fieldwork was conducted between January and April 2007.
