In partnership with a number of professional bodies and government offices, we have undertaken extensive consultation with employers and training providers in Wales to discover the skills gaps and shortages across the sector.
The result of this consultation has formed part of our Sector Skills Agreement (SSA) report for Wales, and has resulted in a series of action plans with key stakeholders, including:
- The Welsh Assembly Government
- HEFCW
- Careers Wales
- Job Centre Plus
- TUC.
These detail how we will work with partners to address the skills needs of Wales' active leisure, learning and well-being workforce.
