Register of trainers
SkillsActive develops quality education, training and qualifications for people working in the Playwork sector. If you’re running a training course, looking for training to improve or update your skills or planning training for your staff you’ll want to be sure the trainer you choose can give you the training you want.
The National Register of Playwork Trainers
This is a list of the playwork trainers who can demonstrate they meet nationally agreed quality standards for the delivery of their training. These standards are based on the principles of playwork that underpin good playwork practice and on playwork concepts that have children’s play needs at their centre.
Who can apply?
Playwork trainers with recent face-to-face playwork experience will be able to apply to SkillsActive for registration. Trainers will be required to complete an application form to demonstrate that they can meet the registration criteria.
