Mentoring Good Practice Guidelines

The SkillsActive Playwork Higher Education Committee has commissioned and published some research, identifying good practice in mentoring, to inform the development of Playwork Sector Endorsed Foundation Degrees.  The research, funded by the Children’s Workforce Unit of the DfES, describes ways in which mentoring support has been provided by three universities, in different parts of the country, and draws on good practice guidelines developed by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education  The guidelines would be equally as useful for training providers as for universities aiming to offer work based learning opportunities, and can be found here.
