SkillsActive's work around the world

Whilst we work to raise standards and productivity within the sport and active leisure sector in the UK, there is a growing demand for workforce development at a European level which we are also engaged with.

The EU has placed high importance on the development of a European qualifications framework that will ultimately result in a flexible and transparent qualification framework at a European level, allowing for an increased level of worker mobility.

SkillsActive have been at the cutting edge of European developments for the sector in recent years. Such efforts have culminated in the coming together of experts from all corners of Europe to focus on LMI and the creation of generic standards for improving the workforce at a European level.
